Kraftstofftank Anschluss [piaggio hexagon LX4], 11 Mar. 2015 22:43

Gutten tag,

My German is not good enought, so I will be write in English. Sorry for that.

I bought Hexagon LX4. I found that in tank  is overpressure( too high, I think).

I think that pipe to tank is wrong assembly.

Please look at picture of my tank. This blue pipe is uncorrect, in my opinion.

Please comprare this to this photo for ebay :

If you can upload picture of correct assembly tank I will be happy.

Hi Matthew,

what about the other end of the blue hose? Is it open, as it should be, or what else?
It´s supposed to be the tank ventilation.

My tank have 3 mounting point for hose at the top of tank:

1. Huge pipe, hose is for return petrol to tank. For sure.

2. Blue

3. Blue

My blue hose out from tank and in to tank 4 cm near.

Your picture is for LX4 ?

Tanks are mainly the same on each model. As I told you, the small (in your case blue) hose is for ventilation and MUST be open.
Take off that blue hose, put a longer (30cm) hose on the clip and close that superflous clip. Lead the hose in a bow above the tank.

I pull out blue hose.

I take photo of my tank.

What connect to unknow ? I have hole in this plug, it‘s not close.

My native lang is polish.
